• Booking form: name, email address, phone number, mailing/physical address, driver's license information, and proof of insurance, as needed to complete a rental reservation and agreement.
• Contact chat: messages you send through the on-site contact chat, along with any contact details you provide there.
• Payments: payment details are processed by Square. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; Square handles payment processing on our behalf.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Process and manage rental bookings and deposits
• Verify eligibility (license, insurance) and execute the rental agreement
• Respond to inquiries via contact chat or email
• Send transactional SMS about your booking or messages (see SMS disclosure below)
• Comply with legal and insurance requirements related to the rental

SMS / text messaging disclosure

By providing your mobile phone number on our booking or contact forms, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Totten Eld Rentals related to your rental booking or messages you initiate with us. Message frequency varies as needed for each rental (typically under 10 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply.

• Texts are transactional only (booking confirmations, status updates, replies to your messages). We do not use your number for unrelated marketing campaigns.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
• Reply HELP for help, or email tommy@totteneldcreations.com.
• Phone numbers are provided voluntarily on booking and contact forms. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase, but we may need a reachable number to coordinate pickup and return.

Sharing & selling of data

We do not sell personal data. We share information only as needed with service providers who help us operate the business—for example, Square for payment processing, and messaging providers used to deliver transactional SMS. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety in connection with a rental.

Data retention

We retain booking and contact records as long as reasonably necessary for rental administration, insurance, and legal compliance, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.
