Information we collect

• Booking form: name, email address, phone number, mailing/physical address, driver's license information, and proof of insurance, as needed to complete a rental reservation and agreement.
• Contact chat: messages you send through the on-site contact chat, along with any contact details you provide there.
• Payments: payment details are processed by Square. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; Square handles payment processing on our behalf.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Process and manage rental bookings and deposits
• Verify eligibility (license, insurance) and execute the rental agreement
• Respond to inquiries via contact chat or email
• Send transactional SMS about your booking or messages (see SMS disclosure below)
• Comply with legal and insurance requirements related to the rental

SMS / text messaging disclosure

You consent to receive transactional text messages from Totten Eld Rentals only by checking the explicit, unchecked-by-default SMS opt-in box on our SMS updates page, booking form, or contact form. Typing or submitting a phone number by itself is not consent.

Texts are about your rental (booking confirmations, pickup/return updates, and replies). Frequency: up to 10 msgs/month. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

• Texts are transactional only (booking confirmations, status updates, replies to your messages). We do not use your number for unrelated marketing campaigns.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
• Reply HELP for help, or email tommy@totteneldcreations.com.
• Consent is not a condition of rental. A phone number may still be needed to coordinate pickup and return by voice or email.

Sharing & selling of data

We do not sell personal data. We share information only as needed with service providers who help us operate the business—for example, Square for payment processing, and messaging providers used to deliver transactional SMS. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety in connection with a rental.

Data retention

We retain booking and contact records as long as reasonably necessary for rental administration, insurance, and legal compliance, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.

Your choices

You may request access to or correction of your information, or ask questions about this policy, by emailing tommy@totteneldcreations.com or using the Message us on this site. For SMS opt-out, reply STOP to any text from us.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
